Around this time of year I can't help but reminisce on past spring breaks. My mom, sister, and I all went on a cruise when I was in 8th grade. One of the stops on that cruise was Grand Cayman, so of course during Tyler and I's recent trip there I kept talking about it. My mom and I took a trip to Las Vegas during the spring break of my senior year in high school and that's where I bought my prom dress. We also saw Elton John in concert during this trip and it was such a good concert! During my junior year of college, some friends I road tripped down to Panama City Beach for the week. We had the BEST time. I'm not exaggerating when I say that it is rare for us to get together and not bring up at least some memory of that trip!
Now that I'm in the working world, I don't really get a true spring break. Sure, I can take a vacation day, but there is nothing quite like a week off when all of your friends are off, too! If you follow me on Instagram, then you probably saw that Tyler and I were in Phoenix this past weekend. I was there all week for work, and Tyler flew down towards the end of the week to join me! We went to a Royals Game and hiked a mountain. I am so glad we were able to take advantage of my time traveling for work! Even though it was a work trip, I still wanted to get some fun, new pieces to wear in the warmer weather.
I featured one of the dresses I recently received from Boohoo on Monday. (I am in love with the off the shoulder style.) Today I am sharing a romper that I am really obsessed with. I love the long sleeves as they are perfect for transitioning into spring weather. The fabric is super breathable, and I love the black and white pattern. I wore this for a date night in Phoenix. I am majorly obsessed with this turquoise necklace right now (evidence here), so pairing it with this black and white printed romper was a no-brainer. Boohoo has a great selection of pieces right now in their vacation shop. So many of these would make such cute outfits for spring break! Whether you are going on a trip with friends, having a stay-cation, or no spring break at all, I highly recommend you check out Boohoo's current selection. They have the cutest pieces to transition your wardrobe into spring! The best part? Most pieces are very affordable. This romper is only $26! Their swimsuit collection is also on point. I am swooning over this one piece!
